But if you must sit quietly -- at a meeting say -- and you're afraid you'll start biting your nails, tapping your toes, or clenching your leg muscles, gum is a good way to keep some part of your body in motion without giving too much offense. I like Extra brand chewing gum. The "Winterfresh" flavor seems to last the longest, and I chew two sticks at at time. I probably go through two packs of gum a day.
